At Mole•Master, Safety is Always Job #1

Safety continues to be the highest of priorities for Mole•Master, and with good reason. Although many efforts have been made to reduce entrapment fatalities and injuries, the Purdue 2016 Entrapment Report indicates that there were still 60 entrapment cases, 30 of which were fatal:

All Mole•Master technicians are MSHA 5000-23 certified and trained to comply with all current OSHA standards for maintaining a completely safe work environment for all of our silo cleaning, inspection and maintenance projects. Our in-place safety program includes comprehensive policies covering Confined Space Entry, Lock Out / Tag Out, Hazard Recognition, and Right-To-Know. With our remote technologies, unsafe silo entry is eliminated.

Mole•Master’s highly skilled, trained professional staff always meets or exceeds OSHA/MSHA standards. Our rigorous safety training program ensures 100% compliance with federal guidelines – and that is only the beginning.

We continually educate ourselves on the safety regulations you deal with everyday, whether those regulations are OSHA, MSHA, site specific, state-wide, regional, or industry-specific. We have a 36-foot bulk storage silo on site at our corporate headquarters in Marietta, Ohio that was installed to expand our training capabilities. The addition of this training silo gives us the ability to provide safety training, such as confined space entry, proper lifting techniques and equipment rigging, plus it provides hands-on silo cleaning training for our crews. At Mole•Master, our silo cleaning technicians begin by training in OSHA/MSHA safety standards, and that training never ends. That is why we have won awards like the “100% Safety Award” from the Mid-Ohio Valley Safety Council.

Mole•Master has been active in the bin and silo cleaning industry for over three decades, as evidenced by the safety associations of which we are a member. We have also been the proud recipient of numerous safety awards over the years.

At Mole•Master, our motto is, “Safety First.” This is not just something we say, it is our way of life.
